Who Am I?

I have trained a very long time, longer than most of my competition in Cleveland, and here is the ultimate truth I have learned (which no one tells you  up front) - Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is hard to do. Very hard. This is precisely the reason why I keep doing it.  No other martial arts that I have trained compares to the experience of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

This experience is what I want for you.

Since I created Team Chard BJJ in 2004, over 1,000 people have come to my mats for the experience.  They have shed blood, sweat, and tears in pursuing greatness.  I am eternally grateful to everyone who has had the courage, nerve, and drive to walk through my doors.  I am most proud of the 13 individuals that have had the audacity, grit and fortitude to persist on their path to mastery by earning their Black Belt.  This team does not exist without these gentlemen.
