Genki Sudo vs Nameless Victims
Genki Sudo is my second favorite Japanese fighter. Like Rumina, he began his career in MMA (a bit later; circa 1998) in another Japanese promotion called Pancrase (also where Shamrock brothers, Bas Rutten and Josh Barnett had early success). His career was more varied than Rumina in that he branched out into the UFC, kick-boxed in K-1 and Hero, and made 3 appearances in ADCC. He eventually earned a Black Belt in BJJ under the Alliance banner.
I love this highlight video (best song ever) because he is a dynamic, creative finisher. And yes, in this tournament, he performs the unicorn of submissions: A rolling calf slicer.
Genki was also well known for some of the craziest choreographed ring entrances that would put WWE to shame. He also had freak show fight against Butterbean in 2003.
