Chris Chard

Chris Chard is a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under World Champion Pablo Popovitch (read his story on how he became Pablo’s first American black belt).  Chris has been a competitive Martial Artist since 1987, with his sole focus being  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 1997.  

In 2004, he created the  Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Center of Ohio.   Since then, he has coached many local, national and international champions in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu competitions, co-founded the Jungle Fight Team that placed 5 MMA fighters in the North American Allied Fight Series amateur finals from 2006 to 2009 , and cornered Ryan Madigan at UFC 96
